Things Coming Down

Remember your Junior Prom? This story is probably nothing like that. Shaun McGann's novel Things Coming Down, opens with an anxiety-filled limousine ride and spirals through a tale of teenage confusion and, more often, self-reflected clarity.

 I should have known what I was getting myself into. I should have never come to this thing in the first place. I didn’t even really want to did I?

Here is my submission for Picard Day at Floating World Comics this Saturday. It's based on one of my favorite episodes of The Next Generation called Allegiance (Season 3, Ep 18) where "Picard is kidnapped and held with three different aliens and meanwhile replaced with a replica as impostor captain." The fake Picard gets sexy with Dr. Crusher during a candlelit dinner in his private quarters.
